Beautiful

She is neither pink nor pale
And she will never be all mine
She learned her hands in a fair-tale
And her mouth on a Valentine
She has more hair than she needs
In the sun tis a woe to me
And her voice is a string of colored beads
Or the steps leading into the sea
She loves me all that she can
And her ways to my ways resign
But she was not made for any man
And she never will be all mine.

~Edna St. Vincent Millay.

Boone came from a very loving family. He was the first born of two to his parents Martha, a midwife, and Marcus, a school teacher. Born and raised in the city of Wish Well, he has now been roaming Simul for quite some time as an undead. Boone used to be a loving, smart, attractive, and very intelligent man...but fate always has a funny way of fucking shit up, doesn't it?

Boone had it all. An amazing family, a promising career in the King's Guard, a sister who he adored, and the love of a mysterious woman who he had planned to wed. His days were filled with laughter and happiness. He had the stability of coming home to his happy place every night. And every afternoon, he would meet with her. They would talk and laugh and make plans for the future. But every day, she left. To a place unknown. Things needed to change. So, they made plans. Plans that would never come to fruition.

Boone died. She came in a fury of flames and darkness. Panic set in, and despite wanting to escape, Boone found himself trapped. He could not find his sister, mother, or father. So he packed and he waited. Screams of agony and terror filled his ears. Then the smoke rose from under the floor. Memory, even as clear as it is for him, fills with discrepancies. From the way his sister's head was struck from her shoulders to where the blistering of his skin had started. One thing remains the same... her face.

He woke up to the Doctor leering over him. The instructions were clear. Bring The Doctor back his property. Boone had no memories. A blank slate if you will. But something remained. A single vision.
